Conical is an artist-directed entity that continues to shape a challenging and evocative atmosphere for artist and audience alike. Conical provides a site for an on-going series of mutual exchanges between artist, audience and organization. Conical was founded in 2001 by Adrien Allen who continues as the current Director with support from a core committee of five practicing artists. Programming is both proposal based and internally curated and encompasses a broad range of disciplines involving National and International artists.
