West Space was founded in 1993, and has become one of the region’s most active artist run organisations. West Space provides a critically engaged, supportive and professional site for the presentation of innovative contemporary art and its accompanying dialogue. Through an application-based program, West Space supports the work of emerging artists, and established artists. West Space continues to develop ambitious initiatives including publishing, international exchanges, cross artform exhibitions and performances through an ongoing Projects Program.
